A mother of three is to be sued for damages after she gave her son what she thought to be a stylish haircut.
Amanda Lane, 43, from Denver was performing her routine six-month haircuts on her three children when her eldest son, Jack, 9, took up the barber’s chair he asked for a ‘David Beckham’.
It is reported that Ms Lane said yes to the request and then proceeded on with the usual cut.
Jack Lane’s lawyers said that Jack has been left distraught and humiliated. “Our client has had to have the same haircut since he was two years old and Ms Lane openly said that she would provide the Beckham haircut and did not even attempt it.”
The statement from Jack Lane and his lawyers went on to say that he was in fact given a ‘bowl’ haircut, which has “…provoked ridicule and insults at school.”
Ms Lane’s lawyers retaliated with a statement saying that there is no way the matter can go any further as there is no evidence that she put a bowl on his head as a template and the only witness to the alleged ‘Beckham’ request was Rufus Lane aged 9 months.
No court date has been set but there are rumours that Jack may take an out of court settlement of a new bike.

My sister was once embarrassed of me because my hair was too long and she had friends coming over. Mom was out of town so she figured she’d cut it herself… it did not end well.
I would have very much liked to have sued her for a few bucks to buy me some consolatory Star Wars toys.
I wish I could get a deal like this. I got butchered once by my aunt and it made me the laughing stock for months when I was a kid.
We’ve all had haircuts this bad. Sorry kid but your mom is broke as ass and your not going to see a damn dime.

I have been guilty of this too, I gave my some a terrible haircut but I mostly blame him for fidgeting.
