Animal Farming: Is there a higher moral order of humanity guarding us from unfettered, greed-driven capitalism?

Nature and life have always had its own rhythms, seasons, and quantities when it comes to growth and follow a “invisible hand”, which guides the global harmony and balance. However, when technology came into the scene of nature, it has brought with it a completely new set of logic to impose on life and nature – a much more efficient and reliable schedule and quantity. By going against the original rhythm of original, harmony of nature and life and demand from it mankind’s own wants and terms — technologizing nature — is essentially an act of rebellion. ‘Without this rebellion, we would all still live nasty and short lives of toil, drudgery, and discomfort’ (Mokyr, viii). Rumpy Pumpy: E-USSR Presidential Favourite

Rumpy Pumpy: E-USSR Presidential Favourite

Belgian Prime Minister Herman van Rumpy Pumpy appears to be the frontrunner for selection as the dystopic E-USSR’s first permanent president at a summit in Brussels this coming Thursday.

The centre-right of left leader has a reputation as a canny duckfat chewer with a self-deprecating sense of humour (he jams sticks of rhubarb in his ears and does reindeer impersonations) which has helped him to hold together a fractious national coalition government who have suffered several calamitous ‘giggle’ failures this past two years after he abolished the Ministry for Graft and Corruption. What is Wrong with our Legal System in America?

The main feature that separates humans from animals, in a world where humans possess “inalienable rights” and animals do not, is Descartes’ famous Cognito. However, I do not think it’s complete when Plato declared that it’s reason that defines us and makes us human. I believe “some” of those people whom we deem “retards” — people with less cognitive facilities — never-the-less encapsulate the same emotions as a normal person. They feel and have strong emotional preferences just as we do. They can love, get hurt, and possess all the vulnerabilities as we mortals have. Continue Reading

The Advantage Small Government (in the epicenter of a Global Financial Crisis)?

Milton Friedman is a canonized saint (Nobel Prize) of modern economics, continuing a line laissez-faire, market-driven economy first started by Adam Smith. And culturally, America revered Friedman as a freedom fighter against the Soviet totalitarian expansions during the Cold War. Friedman’s theory favors minimum government (Libertarian), especially minimum, government intervention on national markets. Trusting solely on the active, free-market forces, all exchange of goods will (in theory) be taken care of by individual understanding of supply-and-demand. Continue Reading

Labour Candidate Calls Queen ‘Vermin in Ermin’

Labour Candidate Calls Queen ‘Vermin in Ermin’

One of PM Gordon Brown’s brain-dead New Labour election candidates may be sacked before he even gets a job following the instance of his calamitous faux pas of publicly declaring the Queen to be a “parasite” and “vermin scum” on a Tory-owned website.

Jacko McScrunt, who is seeking election to Slumgutter Hamlets Borough Council in South London next May, wrote the comments on Tory MP Dinsdale Fuctifino’s Facebook page. Continue Reading

The Difference between Beauty and Art from the East to the West

Beauty and Art is a complex subject that’s culturally and existentially relative

A gifted artist between West and East may both extrude life’s beauty to us, but their life’s philosophy determines the style of their expression. A gifted Western artist wants to show us the beauty of this world through an ideal — a platonic space if you will. Western art is imagined to have capability to inspire individuals to pursue perfection: “A million sunsets will not spur on men towards civilization. It requires a perfect art-depiction of that sunset (a Platonic image) to evoke into consciousness the finite perfections which spurs human achievement. In Western Art, both science and art is believed to capture a manageable slice of the infinite richness of nature for us and let us glimpse a moment of perfection. Continue Reading

Iraq Stands by “Magic Bomb Detector” Technology

Iraq Stands by “Magic Bomb Detector” Technology

Iraqi security forces have adopted a revolutionary new bomb detection device, according to the New York Times.

The hand-held device is several orders of magnitude smaller than devices available from “reputable” manufacturers, but American critics have their collective panties in a bunch over the fact that the device “doesn’t actually work” and is “putting untold numbers of people in danger of being blown into tiny, McNugget-sized pieces”. Welfare Handouts – Visit the UK & fill Yer Boots with Booty

Welfare Handouts – Visit the UK & fill Yer Boots with Booty

Now here’s a brain-teaser to contemplate while considering which scumbag political party to vote for in next year’s General Election.

Why is the common British working class peasant paying child benefit for kids that don’t live in the UK and have never even heard of – let alone seen – the White Cliffs of Dover? Continue Reading

The Bronx Project

The Bronx Project is a diverse community that demonstrates what human freedom combined with love and unity is capable of achieving. It was inspiring to see how people of every ethnic, economic and social background were willing to sacrifice — hand in hand — to free their fellow brothers and sisters under the grip of poverty. These grass root organizations created social programs and institutions to help illuminate a path of freedom and unleash the potentials of our fellow citizens in New York’s poorest region. Black Men Can’t Curtsey

Black Men Can’t Curtsey

Obama’s botched bow to Emperor Akiheehaw this weekend has put the culturally-refined Japanese themselves in the diplomatically delicate position of not knowing whether to laugh or cry – and are as painfully embarrassed over the shameful spectacle as if Dubya Bush had still been the Pres’ and given Akiheewaw one of his Texas turkey-brained Merkel-style backrubs. Obama’s Admin Creates Jobs in Neverland

Obama’s Admin Creates Jobs in Neverland

Now here’s a breaking news story to warm the cockles of your heart and make you proud to be American.
Oh yes, enough to inspire you to shout out loud from the rooftops and declare “See, I told you we were spot on switching to Democrat and voting for the Kenyan guy!”

And why is this so? For the Obama administration’s financial bailout package – all mega-zillions of dollars-worth of it – has – in the midst of this quagmire of a global recession – saved ‘and’ created thirty jobs in Arizona’s 15th Congressional District – simply by laying out a measly $761,420.75c in federal stimulus spending. Terrorists Win: Bin Laden “Pleasantly Surprised” w/ NYC 9-11 Show Trial

Deep in the Mountains of Pakistan: Osama Bin Laden gave a rare press interview today to BSNE and other members of the international media. Commenting on the Obama Administration’s decision to try the mastermind of the 9-11 Attacks, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, in civilian court in New York City; a near giddy Bin Laden announced, “The terrorists Win!” Continue Reading

Signing the Universal Health Care by Obama Barrack

Why this is the right thing to do from a religious point-of-view

Philosophers and Theologians have been dazzled for over a thousand years by one single-most important question, and here is what the buzz is all about:

A child is near death from a serious disease. There was only one drug that might save the sick child. But the sick child’s father cannot afford this cure even with his entire life long savings. Continue Reading

Gordon Brown Offers “I’m Not Quite the the Worst Case Scenario”; Is

Now, not only do we have Posh Dave Cameron and his Tory scumsters picking on poor old Gordon Brown – the Stalinist Slime Minister nobody voted for – but he’s getting it in the neck from all and sundry and can’t seem to do anything right for doing wrong.

Gordon, as a politician, has been up shitcreek without a paddle since taking over from top sleazebag Tony Bliar, and made his first monumental faux pas in the House of Conmans last December when defending New Labour’s bankrupt banks rescue strategy Continue Reading

The Black Experience in America: Whiteness is Beauty, Blackness is Ugly… the voice of a promised land…

Images rarely, if ever reflect reality. All images are a distorted view of reality since they are highly stylized. They are not a slice of life but a constructed version of reality. Many theorists argue that the version of reality encoded in images of our media is that which serves the interests of the dominant group such as corporations and wealthy white men and women in America.
