Several More IT Articles Tomorrow: Plus a Very Special Poem! (SNEAK PREVIEW)

Whew! How was that?

As promised, I posted more today from the Medium journal that is being phased out and redistributed here on Glossy News: IT Emperor!

Several more articles will follow tomorrow, Friday December 15; as well as the very special satirical poem I promised.

Here’s a quick taster of :

The Brotherhood of Evildoers

(An Ode to the Empire of Misplaced Righteousness)

Cain is great

O Cain is good!

Join our ancient Brotherhood

Elder Nimrod hunts with might

Pursues his prey til break of night

Aye, and further still!

A good old-fashioned satire, in the 18th and 19th century style?

You decide! If you’re thirsting after something of that kind, you can of course check In Syria Did Cameron, a parody of Samuel Taylor Coleridge’s high school and university favourite: Kubla Khan. If you want intelligent satire, The Satirist is certainly a good publication to read!

Bobby Joe is the lovable (and equally hateable?) well-meaning redneck from the ‘How It’s REALLY Made’ Documentaries!

Scroll through the playlist just linked to above, and find various funny mockumentaries, as well as two funny trailers for the movie.

That’s right!

He also has a movie coming out…! Read more Kickstarter for Funny Mockumentary Movie: Are You Gonna Help Sponsor Bobby Joe?

Three Northern Ireland Song Parodies Are On Their Way

Haven’t published any song parodies here for a while. Over the next three days, we’ve got Billy Joel, Led Zeppelin and John Lennon!

Some brief spoilers:

Peace Wall Banditry

Lads did ye get some U2 posters?
Get a little beer?

Which exciting Dick Turpinesque song is this?

It’s not Whiskey in the Jar, by Thin Lizzy!

Imagine Our Johnny Lennon, Now!

Imagine there’s no Starbucks
Fast food is evil nahee

Note the spelling!

Oh, and…

OK, I suppose this is an easy one.

There’s a bit of a Rab C Nesbitt reference too, but I guess there are a lot of my fellow Hiberno-Irish way back ‘across the water!’

She’s Always a Loyalist Wimmin tee Him There, Aye!

She’s been living in her Papish world
As long as any fan of Rangers can

Hm…

Tough call.

Interfaith dating, with a slightly ‘not how you do it’ twist!

Watch out for the song parodies, then! Thursday, Friday, Saturday!
