November Surprise: Bush Hysterically Backs Barack

GlossyNews.com – In a surprise move, George W. Bush has endorsed Barack Obama in today’s election.

“I know you all must think I’ve been drunking crazy-water,” said Mr. Bush. “But the more I looked at that Barry fellows record, the more I realized that we have a lot in common. We both created trillion dollar deficits, both had to deal with ongoing wars [in Iraq and Afghanistan] and both had to spend a lot of time cleaning up bushes.”

The Obama campaign has been caught off guard and appears unsure how to deal with this latest development. Campaign spokesperson David Axelrod was less than enthusiastic about Mr. Bush’s endorsement, but then again, he’s not exactly known for his enthusiasm.

“We want to thank Mr. Bush for coming out in support of President Obama, I guess,” said Axelrod. “But we already have the support of former presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton so I think an endorsement from a third ex-president would be hogging the presidents.”

The Romney campaign has publicly expressed its regret that former President Bush did not see fit to publicly support Governor Romney. Privately, however, it is reported that they couldn’t be happier.

Faced with accusations that he purposely threw his support to Obama in order to undermine the incumbent’s chances, Mr. Bush was either indignant or confused, it’s hard to tell.

“I assume that any presidential candidate would be thrilled to receive my ‘go fer it’,” said Bush. “And I can’t imagine why anyone would turn it down.” He then winked. When asked if he just winked, he said, “Nope.” And winked again.

If the polling numbers start breaking Romney’s way, look for more surprise endorsements for President Obama including ones from Sarah Palin, Donald Trump, that black guy that looks like Benson, future Canadian Ted Nugent and Rush “pills pills pills” Limbaugh. Rumor has it that even Dick Cheney may go public with his support for Vice President Joe Biden, unaware that we don’t vote for vice presidents.

  1. It’s been a thirty-year journey to today’s mess, starting with Reagan. It’s ironic that most average Americans consider him a saint and yet he did more to screw them over than anyone except maybe Bush.

  2. If Obama loses the election today you can thank the bamboozling indoctrinations of the far right. The entire globe overwhelming supports our president while the fringe sect of conservatism demonizes and degrades him to no end. Most of this is financed by the rich who want to keep their stranglehold on the flow of wealth in our country with their niggardization of Freedom of Speech. The racism of yesteryear has come full circle and you can watch the rich white hands applying the Blackface to our first African-American President on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2012/10/bamboozling-obama.html
