GlossyNews.com editor Dexter Sinistri recently submitted a petition for single-payer healthcare which met the threshold and is now live on their site… but he has another petition, one to put all petitions to shame.
UPDATE: 11/20/12 – This morning the editors at Huffington Post published an article outlining the brilliance of Dexter’s “Petition to end all Petitions”. We all appreciate when another organization notices our work, so please check out this article from Huffington Post and take the time to sign the petition yourself.

UPDATE: 11/18/12 – The petition is now LIVE on the White House petition page.
This is a petition to ban all government spending on WhiteHouse.gov petitions, since they never get a sincere response and they are practically worthless… won’t you sign it?

As of writing this, we’re already at 14 signatures. Just ONE MORE and it will go live on WhiteHouse.gov.
We get so many half-assed responses and see very little (no?) action from them, so what’s the point? Let’s spare the federal government the expense of hosting this complicated website and put the money back in the hands of tax-payers, since they don’t even bother to take it seriously.
I’ll update this as more signatures roll in.
Sheogorath, don't confuse me. I did like that this petition ended up in a huffington post article though.
LOL at the paradox this creates! If your petition to ban all whitehouse.gov petitions succeeds, then yours will also be banned, cancelling out the banning.
