Kentucky Democrat Votes for Right to Complain

Newport, KY – Local liberal Michael Benton walked to the middle school gymnasium, and was greeted with laughter and an occasional jeer.

He greeted his Republican friends, gave his ID to the snickering old ladies behind the folding table, and filled out the only ballot for Obama in the city.

“I really only voted for my right to complain,” Benton admitted. “If I don’t vote and complain, people ask who I voted for and I’m like ‘well…’”

“I like how he came out even though he knew he had no chance,” Romney supporter Gene Sullivan said. “Shows some guts.”
