French Fancies

French philosophy is so beautiful, and so beautiful even in its ugliness.
Gallic skepticism is the returningly-repressed handmaiden of Anglo quibbling; and that is why the Channel has been carved out in letters of blood, as too much debate and contention troubles the most pacific of restless souls.
It would be good to see more of the French ‘intellectual scene’ one day, broadly speaking. Academic, journalism, art.
I doubt I will have the money.
Mais si je suis pris ainsi dans le rêve de l’Autre, lasse-moi etre bien foutu! as M. Deleuze would no doubt be my testifier.
