Please remember that the great sages of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and most faiths, still have a great deal to teach people.
Try and put aside any metaphysical prejudices you may have (or indeed fear of such!) and don’t let the words be a barrier.
Liberals can read Marx or Mao and sift through whatever is inessential in the ‘semantics.’
Socialists can do the same for classical liberal or libertarian writings.
And religious, non-religious and ‘tickbox, other’ folks can be adults about it, and afford each other the same courtesy.
Can we not?
