On a Private Island in the Pacific (GlossyNews) — There is a man whose birth certificate should be given a lot of scrutiny. No, he is not Obama. This guy is whiter than Wonder Bread. He has done more to influence American policy in the last 10 years than possibly anyone else. And he is not an American. And he influences it in whatever way is advantageous to himself.
Say Hello to Rupert Murdoch, Australian born and raised media giant who is the brains and the motivator behind FOX News and their insistent anti-everything banter. He is one of the major owners of media outlets in the English speaking world, owning top television stations and newspapers in England, the U.S., and in his homeland of Australia.
Once a labor supporter who was born into a media magnate family, Murdoch’s politics changed as he realized where his bread came from. Now an ardent arch conservative, Murdoch is a key power game player. One of his latest ventures is propping up Sarah Palin as a key possibility for the 2012 Presidential elections. He is the motivator behind the vitriol spewed out by FOX News. And behind those demanding Obama’s birth certificate.
Why don’t we ask for THIS guys birth certificate?
And for his green card while we are at it?
If the people who are so against Obama knew that it was a foreigner pushing for his ouster they might send Murdoch packing instead.
Actually, in all truth, Murdoch did become an American citizen. Which means he renounced his Australian citizenship. Which means the conservatives have a traitor to his own country of birth leading them and dictating their policies.
It scares me to think that the people in the hard Right are also into guns. They’ll take pot shots at anything.

Isn’t Fox just another State controlled media outlet? You can’t have it both ways. Either Fox is just another independent news outlet, like the rest of them, or there’s a cohn-spir-hacy, I tell you!!!
OMG! an ultra liberal complains that Fox News isn’t fair and balanced. EUREKA! I have found one of the permanent MSNBC viewers. Chris Matthews has an identical twin with shivers going down his leg at the mention of Obama.
Murdoch need not run for office- he has simply elected himself the official spokesperson (via his official mouthpieces, ie. FOX and the Wall Street Journal) for the whole of Britain, Australia and the United States. And it is not ‘Fair And Balanced’.
We don’t need to ask for Rupert Murdoch’s birth certificate, and naturalization papers, until he decides to run for any public office except the US presidency, because as a naturalized citizen, he is ineligible for POTUS. Obama, as a US citizen is equal to Murdoch, in eligibility, and could have remained a US Senator, per COTUS Article 1 Section 3 Clause 3. But, do we want dual citizens writing US laws? Now, in theory Obama surrendered British citizenship on taking the oath of the Senate, but he is not a natural born citizen, required by COTUS Article 2 Section 1 Clause 5.
