If you condemn moderate ‘honest brokers’ on the Israel issue and accuse them of ‘complicity with evil,’ then you open up the ground to bigots screaming ‘Zioliberal! Zionazi!’
If you insinuate Arabs and Eastern Europeans are animals who must be brought to heel via humanitarian aggression, then you legitimize leaders who talk about banning Muslims or who make indiscriminate accusations of rape and pillaging against Mexicans. Read the full story

Accessibility is a very current topic, but not all framings of accessibility are alike. Spot the difference:
We must have 50% of young people attending university, to make us viable competitors on the world stage, and set our stamp on world affairs as leading enlightened, dynamic and creative figures in the international community.
Artificial barriers to university cause many problems. People feel discouraged, alienated and disenfranchised. For individuals from many communities, there is a knock-on effect on equality and access to other resources.

The second presidential debate is in the history books, and unlike the empty chair present at the RNC and the first debate, Obama came out swinging and made Governor Mitt Romney look like nothing but a third rate amateur… so he cried foul.
He didn’t blame the altitude or jet lag, but he might as well have. Instead the conservative media is blaming CNN moderator Candy Crowley for being openly pro-Obama, when what she actually was, was pro-fact. Read the full story

In what seems to be a continual effort by the Obama administration, an accusation of pandering to special interest groups has again been leveled at the campaign of failed Gov. Mitt Romney.
His willingness to change his appearance to match his audience, which was first noticed during an interview on Univision, was even more pronounced today.
The accusation comes from a stop that former Gov. Romney made at a Jewish community center in Tampa, FL, late this afternoon.

Several people who were at the rally said that he seemed like he belonged in their community and that his statements lined up exactly with what they felt needed to be done to those damn palestinians. Read the full story
