How I Flew to Amsterdam for Free (& You Can Too!)

I love to travel, but who doesn’t? I got an offer too good to be true, so I Googled it… and then I accepted it. I got a free trip to Amsterdam out of it.

All I had to do was apply for an American Express card, and then use it. That was it. You get 30,000-50,000 miles just for signing up and using the card. And even though there’s an annual fee, it’s waived for the first year, so you can just cancel it before it comes due again.

Imagine that.

50,000 free miles means 5 round trip tickets from Seattle to San Francisco, two across the entire country, or one to a whole slew of international destinations… that’s what I did.

Got the card, used it, got my miles, took a free trip to Amsterdam… and then I closed it. Just like that.

If you want to get in on this action, you can apply directly for 30,000 miles, or get 50,000 plus a $50 statement credit after spending $2,000 in the first three months by using my referral link.

This post isn’t sponsored or endorsed by AMEX or Delta, it’s just something I’ve personally used and in ways that have gotten me ten thousand miles of free travel.

This is an actual pic I took in Amsterdam:
