Match.com Under Fire for “Group” Dating Events

Dating website Match.com, which claims to use intricate compatibility matrices to find potential dates for willing singles, has come under fire with its most recent dating campaign.

Match.com’s Stir events have been plagued by charges of racism after participants have shown up at Match.com-sponsored parties that are dominated by other singles of the same race.

Last month, a group of twenty Caucasians were sent to a Coldplay concert in Indianapolis, where they portrayed an aptitude for dancing that would make Elaine Benes blush.

Upon seeing the Stir group flailing in unison to a particularly spirited rendition of the hit single “Yellow,” one usher was quoted as saying, “My God, what a creepy, unsettling sight.”

The following week, a group of Asian Americans attended a Stir event at a Los Angeles Department of Motor Vehicles branch, where they were “treated” to driving lessons and complimentary copies of Rules of the Road.

One participant, Charles Lee of San Marino, CA, has come forward to speak out against the event. “Why the DMV? I just don’t get it. I’ve had a driver’s license for 15 years and don’t have a single blemish on my record. If I only wanted to meet women of my own race I would have let my mother set me up with the daughter of one of her bridge friends, like she’s been trying to do since I was 17.”

Jerome Johnson, who last week attended a Match.com event at a Bronx Kentucky Fried Chicken, has filed a complaint with the New York State Better Business Bureau.

“Don’t get me wrong, I like KFC as much as the next guy, but is Match.com even trying? What am I paying for? Twenty-five levels of compatibility my ass.”

Glossynews.com received no response to repeated requests for a statement from the popular dating website.

  1. What a dumb waste of time article garbage. More “White” bashing. We are SICK of that phony “R” word. Match has a right to group races who prefer to date THEIR OWN RACE, as indicated on profile preferences. . I am not interested in dating outside of my race no matter who does not like it. Having a dominant race i.e black, or Asian, Middle Eastern demographic at a paid event would waste my time, I’d leave immediately . . Most People want to date their on race if they are interested in a marriage partner. All groups have only Asian, Black, Hispanic, Jewish only groups, that’s how its advertised. Why not White dating groups???The demon dark forces and minority troublemakers seem to want to wipe out the white race and force miscegenation. Match a “Private” organization can host whatever racial group wants to date within.

  2. Read a fun study a couple years back. It said you’re more likely to meet someone to marry at a bar… of course, if you’re looking for a secretly married dude, the internet is straight up the best way to go.
