Pistorius’ Defence ‘A Shot in the Dark’

A leaked document has been revealed to the press outlining Oscar Pistorius’ proposed defence arguments in his ongoing murder trial.

The legal brief describes the three main planks to his defence designed to undermine the prosecutors case.Firstly he is to claim that he ‘just really really really needed the toilet’ and to refer to expert testimony from his five doctors that being denied the ability to urinate can lead to temporary insanity otherwise referred to as ‘yellow streak psychosis’.

Oscar is also instructed to remind the judge, as often as possible, that he is in fact disabled, as the defence team believe this vital aspect of the case has been sorely ‘overlooked’ something that Oscar when on his stumps is used to being.

Lastly the brief goes on to state, ‘as in most murder cases in South Africa your best defence will be to wink and nod at the white judge while explaining that you thought the robber was black’.

Oscar’s defence team was unavailable to comment on the leaked document, however the chief prosecutor’s office did release a statement, claiming that regarding his legal arguments, ‘Oscar doesn’t have a leg to stand on’.
