Even as a non-interventionist, I think there is at least an entertainable case for attacking North Korea. NK has already committed acts of war, such as firing missiles “over” (at?!) Japan.
It’s a genuine dilemma; however, it is indeed a “dilemma,” and not a “non-starter.”
Remember, there was not a single German soldier on French or UK soil when the Allies declared war on Germany. They just saw what way the wind was blowing.
The times are depressing.
War should truly be a last resort.
Not a fake-ass last resort like Iraq, the Balkans or Afghanistan, and God knows how many other examples.
It’s hard to know what to do.
For my part, I am not old enough to remember the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Yet fortunately, regardless of how kids of the 80s like me are tempted to despair, we got through that.
We got through Hitler, and we got through the Soviet Union too.
It is possible to weather the storm of North Korea for now; and in the long run, Alt-Islam/Jihadism.
Don’t forget that the world has always been on the verge of ending.
Somehow, it just keeps on rollin’ on!
