After many months of no winner, the Mega Millions jackpot has now soared to over $200 billion, according to Mega Millions lead director Paula Otto.
“Whoever wins this jackpot will be the richest person on Earth”, Otto stated. “they will have dominance over humanity and could decide the fate of the entire planet!”
Otto reminded readers that with $200 billion a person could control the stock market, find cures for disease, help to eliminate hunger in the world or create permanent housing for all the homeless people in the country.
“There’s no end to what this kind of money could contribute to humanity”, Otto stated.
Paul Jeffers, 36, from Steubenville, OH said, “I hope I win the money! I’d buy a new sports car, buy some most excellent weed, pay off my gambling debts, go to Vegas and go crazy!”
“I don’t know what I’d do with it but I know I’d be happier than a pig in shit!” said Idaho farmer Jack Mayberry.
“I’d give each of my friends a million dollars”, said 42 year old Ventura, CA auto mechanic Craig DePilatory.
“Then I’d buy a fancy house with, like, 30 rooms. It’d have a big remote control fence and a swimming pool and a hot tub and I’d have, like, a fleet of cars that I would never have to fix cause if they break down I just toss ’em and buy a new one!”
“I’d buy my mother a fur coat”, said Quincy, MA College student Vivian Fracas. “The rest I’d just save”
Otto reminded us that just because people could save the world does not mean they will.
“Most people will find a way to blow it”, Otto concluded.
