Los Angeles, CA – Little did Lady Gaga realize that the special rifle bra that was created for her “Alejandro” video actually was made from real rifles strapped to the front of the bra in such a way that when she danced, the rifles would sway from side to side.
Unfortunately, while practicing to swing the rifles both in the same direction, one of them got caught in the strapping and swung wildly to the left hitting the other rifle causing it to discharge.
An assistant to the costume designer who came up with the rifle bra claims that they didn’t think to check for any bullets in the chamber before using the rifles because the rifles were thought to be new and never used. “We don’t know what happened,” she said. “Obviously, there were bullets in the firing chambers we didn’t know about and when Lady Gaga lost control of the rifles, they just went off, grazing two of the dancers, one in the leg, and another in the hand.”
Gaga’s manager claims this accident is a double-edged sword. “On the one hand, we’ve been told by our liability insurance carrier that we can no longer use the rifle bra in future videos. However, we do have film of the incident and plan on using it in an upcoming video. I mean, think about it,” he said. “We can’t go around intentionally shooting dancers to get footage, but since we already have the footage, who’s to say we can’t use it over and over again. How much more realistic can you get than that?”
Meanwhile, those close to Lady Gaga are having a bit of fun with the whole thing. Instead of calling her tatas hooters, they now refer to them as “shooters.”
