As the election campaign gathers pace, and the Republican Party appear to be exposing their inherent incompetency, a British correspondent expressed utter disbelief that any candidate for the Presidency, without doubt the most influential position in the world, could possibly be as idiotic as Mitt Romney.
“You’re kidding me! Right? Please tell me you’re joking. A candidate for the Presidency fails to grasp that you can’t open windows on an aircraft to let a bit of fresh air in?” asked Martin Shuttlecock, of Skoob News International.

“What’s he going to do next? The mind boggles! Coal powered submarines anyone? It’s one way of reinvigorating West By God! Virginia I suppose. Although it just seems a bit weird to me..”
It seems that the Brits, burdened by enough problems of their own, apparently ‘imagineered’ by the previous Republican administration, to the detriment of the world at large, simply don’t grasp the fundamentals of American politics.
“I don’t quite get it either,” said Moscow drug dealer, Sergei Eisteddfodd. “The Republicans keep on talking about free enterprise and job creation, yet they deported me when I was selling crack in Jersey City.”
“I can only think that there’s a seething kind of resentment against President Obama because he’s black,” Shuttlecock added.
“He seems perfectly reasonable to me, and not the kind of fool who ponces about saying that India’s in Africa, or diverting federal funds to a project devoted to masterminding ejector seats for helicopters. He just seems like a straight up guy trying to rebuild a sandcastle consisting primarily of water.
“Mitt Romney just has a forename that sounds like a glove, and the only thing he appears to be any good at is proving he’s a bigger idiot than Sarah Palin. Who is the love child of Australia’s own Dame Edna Everage. If rumours are to be believed.”
