Announcements - For those of you who haven't looked in a month or three, the Front of ISNA has undergone a massive facelift. Worth checking out, if I do say so myself. - The Webmasters Reference Library is finally open. It is a synthesis of things I've learned along the way mixed with sites and books I've read. There's tips, tricks, tools, links and marketing strategies that should cater to webmasters of all levels. - The Alexa Toolbar is available for download. Every link coming from ISNA has a button for Alexa information. Many of you know the benefits already and many of you already have it, for those of you who don't or don't know what it is, you need to check out the write up. Go see all the public info on your site. - We have (finally) added the 88x33 button option to the directory. Sites showing buttons obviously have a much better chance of being seen and earning a click-through than do simple text links. For all the information on getting yours added, check out the requirements. - The address of ISNA has changed from glossynews.com/isna/isna.htm, to a much shorter glossynews.com/isna. Both addresses will remain in effect for at least three months. Ultimately the the old one will be replaced with a redirect to the new one. Please update your links accordingly.   Member Benefits... Access to valuable and growing members and webmasters resource pages. An exciting little button you can copy and paste on your site, like below. Support from other members when 1st Ammendment Rights are threatened. Presentation of your logo on our front page. New sites are sent out to our subscriber database as they are added. So a new member gets an immediate increase in readership.   Free Marketing With each newsletter I hope to bring you advice on how to further market your site. This months installment comes from within the webmaster vaults. It's an explanation of "Surfing for Clicks". This tuturial aims to explain how you can get 1130 new visitors just for signing up, and an additional 540 new visitors per hour every hour that you work it.   What's New? So much has changed in the last month. Here goes... May 13th, 2003 - Added glossynews.com/isna address in addition to the original glossynews.com/isna/isna.htm, which is too long and needs to be phased out. May 12th, 2003 - Completed Webmaster Resource page, this page, the email tuturial page and a couple more. May 12th, 2003 - Added a new (and terrible) 88x33 logo as can be seen here (it's the green one.) May 11th, 2003 - Completed major revision of many core pages including the subscription info page, and the new members joinging page. CONTINUING LIST AVAILABLE HERE.   What Next?
