Retractions
Glossy News is dedicated to bringing you news hot off the griddle. Some feel it's important that it's cooked all the way through, we just serve it up hot. As such we never, ever verify the truth or validity of even the most outrageous of our articles. Have faith, dear friend, it's for the best. Further, many of our retractions are wildly incorrect. We apologize, but do not retract our retractions. Overkill at that point, don't you think? It seems there was one or more small clerical error(s) in our last edition. Please note the following corrections: |
In reference to the article regarding J. Wiley Press and their upcoming book, Frivilous Lawsuits for Dummies, it turns out that you can only enforce trademark protection against brand dillution against someone using your trademark for commercial purposes... and you know what, those Wiley sonsabitches know that perfectly well. They are just bullies. For those of you tuning in at home, consider a boycott of these Wiley (yes, again, pun intended) and unethical corporate clowns. Clearly they don't have any love for you, do they... dummy. It was reported in our Music 101 tutorial that we have no idea how Dr. Dre became so successful. It turns out it is because he cranks out some funky ass beats that he gets respect for from his friends and family, but cold hard Johnny cash money from middle class suburban white kids. Who knew? You've seen this line before, but it's still true. I'm tired man, papers got to go out. The rest of it looks true from my house. Best we can tell everything else is true, accurate and chock full of wisdom and/or nuts. |
