Fighting Hate with Hate

I recently got a bad headache and had to lie down. It snuck up on me while I was researching the word fascist. The reason for my interest in fascism was Yvette Felarca.

She’s a special kind of crazy. People who take things way too far are either deeply admired or deeply despised. Yvette feels if you don’t take things way too far, nothing will ever get done.

It’s scary her position has merit. But it does. Saying, “Hey, this is wrong can you fix it?” never seems to work. To fix it once and for all, Yvette became a national organizer for BAMN, By Any Means Necessary.

Everybody has heard the term fascist being tossed around lately by both those doing the accusing and those doing the denying. Yvette likes to kick it around the sidewalks and spit it at whomever is in her crosshairs at the moment.

She beats fascists with sticks and bats.

She fights hate with hate.

She neatly tucks people she doesn’t agree with into a Procrustean bed filled with squirmy fascists. She hates Milo Yiannopoulos.

He’s a special kind of crazy too.

I began researching fascism after hearing an interview with Yvette where she was calling Milo a fascist over and over again. No one can deny that Yvette makes a big deal out of shutting down free speech by using her right to free speech. She doesn’t deny it. She openly advocates violence and to her credit hands out her share of thumpings as well.

I saw a clip of her going after some hapless fellow on the streets of Berkeley.

When I say, “to her credit” I don’t mean I’m for violence.

I mean that she isn’t hiding out behind a wall encouraging everyone else to kick ass on her behalf.

You’ve got to give her that.

Nailing down exactly what a fascist is turned into hard work. After a bit the research the effort became a breeding ground where cognitive dissonance and comparative bias become the proud parents of absurdity.

Meaning you can define the term fascist any way you want.

You can apply it to anyone you don’t like or don’t agree with. It’s inflammatory and useless.

But a damn effective call to arms.

After all that perusing and research here is a quote that plugged the term but settled nothing:

“According to most scholars of fascism, there are both left and right influences on fascism as a social movement, and fascism, especially once in power, has historically attacked communism, conservatism and liberalism.”

That’s pretty much every credo, political philosophy and populist movement that ever has been and ever will be.

So, anyone who takes a political stance is a fascist? The word that stands out in the above quote is “attacked.”

That word embodies violence. Fight hate with hate.

Yvette is a sincere believer in kicking violence right in the balls. She is an intemperate militant who sees no duplicity in her stance. Everyone is duplistic in one way or another.

And I always admired those who can admit it.

Or at the very least admit to some confusion.

I think everyone should be a little bit confused. It makes you go find out on your own and not listen to all the boneheads.

Yvette is not confused in the least. She’s dangerous.

And she likes it that way.

Here is what Milo said:

“There are some fringe factions of the alt-right that have demonstrated genuinely racist, anti-Semitic, and prejudiced leanings. They clearly don’t want a Jewish, homosexual, black-d – – supremacist as a spokesman. And I don’t want to be associated with them, either.”

So, is Milo trumpeting a call to genocide against (fill in the blank) or is Yvette so bent on doing what she feels is the right thing that she is willing to bust a lot of heads to get it done?

Is Milo advocating domestic pogroms so his handlers can finally take over once and for all or is Yvette anticipating what she thinks is going to happen and is trying to stop it dead in its tracks?

Who is whupping up whom and for what purpose?

I admire crazy as much as anyone but I don’t want my next headache installed by a bat.

  1. Agreed. Its a tad looney out there. I think they are in a race with Illinois to see who can hit bottom first.
