Yet Another Outbreak of Rabies at FOX News

MINOT, North Dakota (GlossyNews) — The recent outbreak of rabies, the madness inducing disease spread by biting that has infected the major stars of Fox News Station, has spread far beyond the confines of their offices. In a new evolution of the disease it appears that it has the ability to leap over the airwaves and infect its listeners, turning them into politically monotonic drones, much like brainless zombies constantly ranting the same tired phrases over and over.

Within earshot they are heard to mutter such stock phrases as “Obama is Socialist- Obama bad”, “Obama take all our guns”, “Country going to hell”, “Minorities taking over” and other such spiels. However, anyone getting within earshot of them generally ends up losing their ear and getting rabies themselves.

In a strange twisted development of the disease, liberals getting infected also start their own zombie-like chants- “More spending for schools”, “Bilingualism in all schools and workplaces”, “Open the borders”, “Free lunches for all”. While the infected liberals are not as aggressive as the conservative ones, it should be noted that both are equally infectious. The Fox listeners, however, bite harder and are meaner.

Strangely enough, the disease does not seem to have hampered the output at Fox News. Top Fox pundits Ann Coulter, Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity still seem to put out their daily diatribe despite being infected. This is especially true in Rush Limbaugh’s case who manages to go on air despite having chewed off his own arm. Some extreme conservatives such as Ann Coulter and Hannity actually seem to have had the illness enhance their performance. Hannity has taken to biting the heads off bats while Ms. Coulter will actually disembowel a liberal live on the air, then suck all the blood out of the lifeless body. The FCC is checking into whether they should let the victims shrill shrieks be heard over the air.

No one is sure if FOX superstar Glenn Beck has been infected or not- his act seems to be the same either way.

  1. Gosh, is it just me or is there not a dry eye in the room after reading the last couple of posts on this one? I mean seriously, if I didn’t know better, I’d say the next post will be written by Rodney “Can’t we all [just] get along?” King.

  2. LB- I apologize too. I thought that might have been the case after I pushed the send button. I know there is BS on both sides. “Echo chamber filled with like minded ears”- that is so good.
Congratulations on the new job. I know what a pain it is being without one.

  3. Naw rfreed, my bad, dude! I was being facetious about something you’re very passionate on, hence misunderstanding. I don’t really think you’re a Communist. I was poking fun at folk who use labels like that is all.

I’d never intentionally say a disrespectful word to u or anybody else Rfreed, no kidding! Were u offended by anything I said, I apologize. I dovetailed off your quite good article (I liked it anyways) to hit the point that FOX News, MSNBC etc. they don’t actually tell lies. They don’t actually report any news, but maybe about 2 out of 24 hours. What they do is spout opinion, into an echo chamber filled with like minded ears.

When the like minded only hang out with each other, acts as an intesnsifier. This was proved back in the 1950’s in experiments.

And Rfreed? I wasn’t defending FOX News. Merely pointing out that all broadcast “news’ is nothing but infotainment now.

That’s all from me for a few days. My start date at new job is Nov. 15 and I have to find apt. and get moved.

  4. And I love having words put into my mouth. FOX is too smart to tell outright lies, they just add their own colorings and shadings to every political thing they do. They are usually more subtle, ‘adjusting’ the truth to their perspective. Also, LB, I resent being referred to as a communist. Find me the proof on that one, if you please.
If you want the big whoppers FOX have gotten involved in lets go over the big ones-
Obama is not an American- Well, lets just insult the entire CIA and FBI because they are not smart enough to have checked all this out when Obama became a senator.
Obama is a Muslim- I am sure by now one of the secret service guys would have announced to the world to have seen him spreading his prayer run out and bowing to Mecca 5 times a day.
Osama wants to take away guns- people scream about this, especially rednecks coming out of Walmart. Show me proof that he does. I have two and no one’s come knocking on my door.
WMDS- Where are they? FOX screamed loud and hard about them.
FOX are masters at subtle disinformation such as this-
    — Fox News hosts Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity were the first to air deceptively edited and incomplete video of Shirley Sherrod’s remarks to the NAACP.[8] The video made it seem like Sherrod was confessing to using her position at the USDA to discriminate against White farmers, when she was really talking about the importance of overcoming prejudice. (Quote from Creedo text)
Fox ties itself in strongly with Christian belief systems. It gives them an emotional base. It knows how to manipulate these emotions to its own political ends. They want to give themselves the image of holy crusaders. “People make decisions for emotional reasons and use contrived facts to justify their decisions.” Quote from Cicero. Unfortunately they only use the Old Testament adage of an eye for an eye and nothing of the love thy brother of the New Testament. A good gauge to judge FOX by- “By their fruits you shall know them.” They spew hate as their fruit.
Compare two television incidents recently- The two women walking out on O’Reilly on The View and a segment on FOX where a interviewee walked out on two FOX interviewers. On the view Walters patiently restored order and apologized that that was not the way things should be done. The two eventually returned. On the FOX show the more liberal interviewee stormed off while the two FOX pundits scoffed and laughed and insulted him. What quality viewing!
Both conservative and liberal sides have good core values. CORE values. Both have wandered out into a tangle of emotions and sub channels in their beliefs and policies. I could write about liberal failings too, but they don’t threaten me. Too many extreme conservative ones would like to get into my space and control it. And do.
Want to see the effect FOX has on people? Read this-
Three months ago, a heavily armed man named Byron Williams was on his way to kill people at two non-profit organizations in San Francisco when he got into a gun battle with police. Luckily, they arrested him before he could carry out his plot. Now, in an interview from jail, the “progressive hunter” has revealed that in fact Fox News’ Glenn Beck was a major inspiration. (Quote from Creedo text derived from various media sources)
The fact that you gentlemen so readily defend FOX (they don’t need it. They have a whole battalion of writers and pundits well financed by big business to help them.)shows how effective their stuff is. The manipulators at FOX know the adage “If you can screw them in the mind first, you can screw them anywhere else you want to after wards.”
By the way, I don’t have oodles of time to spend in an internet flame war. I have a blue collar job I have to attend to and other things. I don’t get government handouts to help me out ( Surprise!!!) and need to use my time for other necessities in life.

  5. Might I just add that it is a good read when you find a newspaper whose editor takes spelling and grammar seriously. Liberal or not, it is a good newspaper. And their Politi-Fact Check feature online does its best to keep everyone honest, not just one side. I find that refreshing. As for Fox, it’s not what it says so much sometimes as it shows, like those crazy photoshop pictures of rallies. They do know how to use technology to their advantage. But to their advantage, they do apologize when they are caught.

  6. I never claimed the SPT lied, I merely pointed out that the editorial reputation of the paper and it’s journalistic history is very liberal leaning. I’ve yet to read any liberal based media source that would give FOX a fair shake in any matters. New York Times is a paper that I wouldn’t put much trust in anymore anyway.

Now, I’m back to writing funny stuff.

  7. @Bargis – “Hate to clue you in, but the St. Petersburg Times has about as much credibility as the New York Times when it comes to conservative issues and non biased reporting.
NO, that’s not how it works. The question was about finding proof of FOX lies. You can’t move the goal posts and attack the credibility of a trusted organization. The onus now falls on the other side of the debate. If you want to cite St. Pete lies, let’s hear ’em.

St. Petersburg Times isn’t just Pulitzer Prize winning (awards surely have a liberal bias too,) but it’s named after a damned SAINT! Surely in an ad hom attack that has to count for something, right?

For more fun, go to FactCheck.org and check out their review of FOX News.

  8. This is legendary journalist Blake Pennywhistle, just rescued from that Chilean mine.

I’d like to echo the statements of Mr. Bogus Tarball there on the St. Pete Times. Yes, it is nothing but a filthy Liberal rag. They fired me in 1998 because I wouldn’t toe their Commie line. And also because the Publisher’s teenage daughter told terrible lies about me.

  9. See, I now clearly state my thesis. If we overgrown class clowns can’t talk to each other, there really is no future for US, except factionalism and irrelevance in world affairs.

I really don’t believe FOX News tells lies about people, nor does MSNBC. That’s because opinions are mostly what they spout.

  10. Hate to clue you in, but the St. Petersburg Times has about as much credibility as the New York Times when it comes to conservative issues and non biased reporting.
In most recent Florida elections, the St. Petersburg Times has supported Democratic or left-leaning candidates nearly 100% of the time.
In 2003, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette described the St. Petersburg Times as a “usually liberal” newspaper.

Like Liberties Taken has requested…Show the real proof of outright FOX News lies.

  11. Looked it up on a site that is much more diligent that I could ever hope to be. You know the St. Pete Times, Bargis. One of the most respected newspapers in the country. Anyway, their truth-o-meter on Bill O’Reilly would disagree with your statement. To be fair, if you looked up other lefties like Ed Schultz and Keith Olbermann, they too have a propensity to tell lies once in awhile. That’s why it’s always important to check out anything you hear and formulate your own opinions based on facts and not what someone tells you to take as gospel. Akin to going to Church and having someone make up the holy gospel for you in the way they interpret it.

    Bill O’Reilly

  12. Good posts guys. Hey L-T, great news about a real job!
Rfreed, sorry you’re being bullied. There’s no place in our country for crap like that.
I’ve read similar stuff about the ‘Great FOX News Lies’ and I do watch the various news shows on FOX, and also on the networks as well. I guess you could say I’m fairly news savvy, but as far as outright lies, I’ve never suspected such, nor had any fears that they would commit broadcast news suicide and tell viewers a flat out fabricated lie.

  13. Dude, Rfreed? U know I’m Christian Conservative, but I’m born member of smartass tribe too, so you’re my people.

Feels to some Conservatives like me sometimes guy? Liberals change subject before anything can ever get talked out! Just saying? Some of we Conservatives notice that about Liberals at times.

Can’t talk the SCOTUS ruling right now bud, will soon maybe. Not afraid of the topic, fer shure. Back to FOX News though?

I’ve got LOTS of stylistic differences with MANY FNC performers. You cite where they lied about people, please Rfreed? Am not laying a snare here, I assure you. Just cite FNC lies on individuals, and I give it honest ear.

I can cite people in other broadcast media trying to whoop up that WW2 re-enactor GOP candidate as Nazi sympathizer. If u wish me to, I’ll get the quotes for you. I really don’t know a worse political lie than ‘Nazi sympathizer’ myself.

So hit me back dude? Would like to hear your instances where FOX News lied about people.

BIG day for me btw Glossy News gang. Informally accepted an offer today; might be I have a permanent Engineering home again, before Thanksgiving. My current Eng. job, am technically a temp.

18 months of underemployment/unemployment, first time ever been without a job my entire adult life. Maybe all that’s in the past now.

Rfreed, please hit me back sir with your cites on FNC telling blatant lies on people?

  14. Lib, if you think the liberal media is running the show, take a look at the ads on Glossy lately- every political one a rightist organization. And this has started since uncurtailed and unsupervised spending on political spending has been allowed in a time when the Dems are ‘controlling’ the government. The ads are put out through a hundred front organizations funded by the money boys at the top.
Also, the type of show biz that FOX puts out is leading people to violence. I have been confronted by an angry logger who assumed I was an environmentalist just from seeing me on the street and started crap. I have had co-workers get near cerebral stroke level repeating pointed accusations put out by FOX’s insistent slander (and they would keep it up for all eight hours of the work day). I have had people in the place I was living who I got along with suddenly get hateful when they found out I was against the Iraqi war. They decided for me I was a liberal without consulting me.
FOX knows what it is doing. Look at what hate radio succeeded in doing in Rwanda. There are thousands of dead there as a result of it.

Thyrol, A lot of what you have in your AWM I can go along with, but I’ll add some subsections to it later.
But a man who was raised by a single woman and had to pull himself up by the same bootstraps that O’Reilly and Limbaugh are always boasting about being an elitist? This is what I mean by FOX’s indoctrination.

  15. There is a great amount of interest in this year’s mid-term elections, as everybody seems to recognize that our next batch of leaders has to be a lot better than Barack ‘Barry’ Obama and his elitist crew. The Democrats are desperate and seek to ask for more time and the same old policies that haven’t worked. While the conservative Republicans are in a quandary about the Tea Party and what the ramifications are of allowing a non-aligned voice into modern politics.

Each candidate is carefully pandering to a smorgasbord of special-interest groups, ranging from gay, lesbian and transgender people to children of illegal immigrants to working mothers to evangelical Christians.

There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide this and future elections…… Let’s just call him the Angry White Man.

The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South, to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard, many serve in uniforms far from our shores protecting our freedoms and interests.

His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard.

The victimhood syndrome buzzwords — “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” — don’t resonate with him. “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, for three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding.

He believes the Constitution is to be interpreted literally, not as a “living document” open to the whims and vagaries of a panel of judges who have never worked an honest day in their lives.

The Angry White Man owns firearms, and he’s willing to pick up a gun to defend his home and his country. He is willing to lay down his life to defend the freedom and safety of others, and the thought of killing someone who needs killing really doesn’t bother him.

The Angry White Man is not a metrosexual, a homosexual or a victim. Nobody like him drowned in Hurricane Katrina — he got his people together and got the hell out, then went back in to rescue those too helpless and stupid to help themselves, often as a police officer, a National Guard soldier or a volunteer firefighter.

His last name and religion don’t matter. His background might be Italian, English, Polish, German, Slavic, Irish, or Russian, and he might have Cherokee, Mexican, or Puerto Rican mixed in, but he considers himself a white American.

He’s a man’s man, the kind of guy who likes to play poker, watch football, hunt white-tailed deer, call turkeys, play golf, spend a few bucks at a strip club once in a blue moon, change his own oil and build things. He coaches baseball, soccer and football teams and doesn’t ask for a penny. He’s the kind of guy who can put an addition on his house with a couple of friends, drill an oil well, weld a new bumper for his truck, design a factory and publish books. He can fill a train with 100,000 tons of coal and get it to the power plant on time so that you keep the lights on and never know what it took to flip that light switch.

Women either love him or hate him, but they know he’s a man, not a dishrag. If they’re looking for someone to walk all over, they’ve got the wrong guy. He stands up straight, opens doors for women and says “Yes, sir” and “No, ma’am.”

He might be a Republican and he might be a Democrat; he might be a Libertarian or a Green. He knows that his wife is more emotional than rational, and he guides the family in a rational manner.

He’s not a racist, but he is annoyed and disappointed when people of certain backgrounds exhibit behavior that typifies the worst stereotypes of their race. He’s willing to give everybody a fair chance if they work hard, play by the rules, and learn English.

Most important, the Angry White Man is pissed off. When his job site becomes flooded with illegal workers who don’t pay taxes and his wages drop like a stone, he gets righteously angry. When his job gets shipped overseas, and he has to speak to some incomprehensible idiot in India for tech support, he simmers. When Al Sharpton comes on TV, leading some rally for reparations for slavery or some such nonsense, he bites his tongue and he remembers. When a child gets charged with carrying a concealed weapon for mistakenly bringing a dull penknife to school, he takes note of who the local idiots are in education and law enforcement. He gets angry when healthcare is unaffordable or unobtainable, simply because Congress neglected to tackle and overhaul the insurance industry’s practices, but instead created a trillion dollar boondoggle with a whole new 2,000 page healthcare law that is too expensive to afford, yet tramples an individual’s liberty by making it mandatory!

He also votes, and the Angry White Man loathes Nancy Pelosi. Her voice reminds him of a shovel scraping a rock. He recoils at the mere sight of her on television. Her very image disgusts him, and he cannot fathom why anyone would want her as their leader. It’s not that she is a woman, that is hardly the case at all, but it’s what she represents and tries to pass on as ‘mainstream’ thinking which is hardly the case. It’s that she is who she is and what she represents. It’s the liberal victim groups she panders to, the “poor me” attitude that she represents, her inability to give a straight answer to an honest question, his tax dollars that she wants to give to people who refuse to do anything for themselves.

There are many millions of Angry White Men. Five million Angry White Men are members of the National Rifle Association, and most, if not all will vote against Obama supported candidates, just as the great majority of them voted for the freedom loving candidates, knowing full well the consequences of a wrong vote and seeing another freedom lost.

The Angry White Man will silently vote. He’ll encourage his friends and family to vote and elect the people that will help America, not hurt her…And then he’ll simply go back to work, tending to his family, and knowing he helped a little in making America stronger.

  16. How can anyone think Beck is well researched and valid? Seriously? It is hard to take anything else you say seriously after reading that. Fox gives a million dollars to the GOP, as a corporation. They sponsord and promoted some of the first Tea Bag parties. They actually went to court to defend their right to intentionally lie in their reporting (a case they won, by the way). They take quotes of context, they are wont to show photos of one event when they are talking about another, less attended event. In short, they are liars, first and foremost, almost as much as the right wing gasbags that dominate right wing radio.

  17. Good one Rfreed!!! Please keep your passion, despite your Communist, America destroying agenda? I prefer passionate Americans who disagree with me, to lady who cut my hair last week & said she doesn’t vote, “cause they’re all a bunch of crooks anyway.”

As to what u said of FOX News? Dude… deep breaths, listen? It’s all show biz. Entire broadcast media spectrum is ALL show biz now. NOBODY is doing real journalism anymore, it’s all infotainment.

Hey, Mary Madelin & James Carville are a couple, right? Limbaugh was at their wedding. I bet they were invited to his latest wedding. It’s all show biz now. Vaudeville finally did make a comeback!

That’s 1 reason we pathological smartasses are VERY valuable to our culture.

  18. As the incredibly reputable source reference Hunter S. Thompson said, “All journalism is biased. (Meaning it is inherent in everyone).
I am obviously biased towards the left side of things.
Most times, not all the times.
Over some things, not all the things.
Most rightists automatically label me a Democrat. That shows an automatic mistake in their attitudes. I just don’t write about the Democrats because there is little there to write about. It would be like writing about sponges. Outside of Obama and Leahy and a few others with substance there is little there. (Although, seriously, could some one explain to me why Pelosi is such a target of the right? Is it just because she is in a position of power and there fore fair game, or has she really done something?)
Both the the Democrats and the Republicans have done a good job of keeping the Washington D.C. career climbing game to themselves. Back in the Bush/Gore slander fest years ago the third party candidate Ralph Nader had more honor and experience than both of them but they successfully kept him from even getting to the microphone. It is an inherently corrupt system because only two parties are running the show. Imagine what it would be like if only one party were running it.
Which is what FOX would like in its heart of hearts.
I don’t go after people who don’t deserve it. I don’t go after Michele Obama, Laura Bush or your average Republican or Democrat representative (although I will go after them collectively when they act like mafioso or hired goons like the right has recently). But FOX deserves it. They are insidious. I doubt that a single person on that station can see their own reflection in the mirror. And Murdoch has a picture in his attic that shows his true self although his human form does show its age. And that picture is of a cold, calculating manipulator who has no respect for nationality or true decency or fair play. If you support FOX and its attitudes then you are letting yourself be influenced by a man who is a foreigner, who forsook his own country to get money and power in ours and will use any subterfuge to keep his power, wealth and influence. He is a false faced man. We Americans only get to see the one he wants us to see.

  19. I respect freed’s opinion.

I don’t own FOX news, nor do I invest in NewsCorp. I watch TV as just one source of news and really make my own decisions based on various reports and analysis from both the print and TV media.

I can tell you this observation from being a 2008 voter (who personally didn’t particularly care for John McCain as a candidate) that watched cable and newtwork TV coverage of the 2008 election. CBS-NBC-ABC plus MSNBC-CNN were way biased towards Obama. They asked many, many ‘soft’ questions of O’Bama during interviews. So soft in fact, the questions were often posed in order to frame a particular point that Obama wanted to make in support of his parties platform.

It took months and months for Obama to finally appear (he appeared just one time) on O’Reilly which I thought was a great, informative interview that asked deep, thought provocking questions.

The Arbitron ratings of O’Rielly are public knowledge. If you feel it’s all rubbish then that’s your business. Sand is all around us and no one minds if you want to stick your head into it in protest, but facts are facts. Just like the left discounts the Tea Party activists and refuses to see a true American phenomenon of normal people venting their anger at a government that’s grown lopsided. That is now commonly typical of the left’s way of dealing with any problem that challenges their beliefs and lays bare a true hidden agenda.

I’m a moderate guy. I hate hate some Republicans and some Democrats pretty equally. I actually attended one Tea Party event. It was basically because I was…(A) Nearby and (B) I was curious. All in all it reminded me somewhat of a homeowner’s association meeting. All kinds of honest, hardworking people that decided enough is enough.

Of course, I didn’t see everyone there since the numbers really surprised me, but they certainly looked like very average, tax paying citizens who felt things just weren’t going as good as they could in Washington. Certainly, they weren’t the racist, KKK, Timothy McVeigh types that are often used by the left-leaning media as a means to discredit patriotic actions.

To give some credulence to rfreed’s argument about fairness…I do watch the weather on CNN sometimes!

  20. Yeah rfreed I dig ya. Understand how whole right wing media must strike u. My local talk radio lineup, believe starts with Beck, then Limbaugh, then Hannity. I’m not an avid listener, but imagine often, each radioactive head repeats previous one.

But hey rfreed? Give yer fellow Americans on other side, benefit of the doubt? We know what BS smells like too y’know! I already acknowledged Beck is cringe inducing to me when he talks 1900-1940. Whether his contextual errrors are poor research or manipulation, eh I dunno Doc. Who can truly know another’s heart?

Please rfreed? Peer for a moment through window on the Right side of our national house. I HEARD Chris Matthews say after election, he considered it his job to HELP Mr. Obama succeed. Sounds kinda biased to me.

Further, we’ve this current media hack orgy ’bout some GOP candidate who at times portrays Nazi during WW2 re-enactments. He also portrays US soldier during WW2 re-enactments, and Union soldier during Civil War re-enactments. The dude (seems to me) is not a Nazi. He’s a middle aged man who enjoys dressing up and re-enacting battles. Hey? I’ve known a few people over the years, their entire summer vacation scheduled around Civil War re-enactments. Load the family in the RV, Daddy’s on tour. Most of these men will gladly play Union or Confederate as is needed to put on a good show.

Chris Matthews and other Leftist hacks going after this re-enactor apparently don’t know many middle Americans with a passion for history, who want to ‘be’ in a conflict they missed.

Rfreed, there are media blackguards & cutpurses on both sides of political spectrum. Just easier for you & me to notice those on side opposite ours.

  21. Fox is basically a 24 hour rant acting as a mouthpiece for corporations backing Murdoch who want nothing more that to make their way to control over the whole US economy easier by making sure everyone is at least superficially on their side. That includes making the ‘little people’ who do the real work in America believe that they are watching over their best interests. The tongues wagging incessantly on FOX are merely kiss asses who found they could get high paying work shooting off their mouths instead of putting their noses to the grind stones like most Americans have to do. When it comes to spinning BS and making it look like gold the mouths at FOX and the brainiacs hiding behind them are at least as professional as those who have been doctoring the minds in Red China for the last 60 years.

Ratings placed O’Reilly above everyone else-
Yeah, and in ancient Rome feeding Christians to the lions was the hottest show in town.
Christians weren’t too crazy about it though.
O’Reilly I used to have respect for, but I now see that he is basically an arrogant Catholic schooled brain who has a talented mouth attached to it. He uses the same formula as the rest of FOX of doing everything possible to belittle and make all opposition look bad. That and showmanship appears to be the major talent at FOX.
Libs say they are the only smart ones-
FOX formats its new to feed a pre-existing mentality. They stoke the viewers egos. They don’t want to enlighten; they want to inflame the emotions of the viewer, making them feel insulted enough or put upon enough to lash out at anything FOX puts its sites on.
They are apparently succeeding. Check out the story of the ‘genius’ who set out with guns in California to take out the local ACLU office (at Color of Change .com)

  22. Good points LT…I’m not much of a Beck fan. I find his style annoyingto me, but the information is compelling that is connected and verified.
O’Reilly I do watch, mainly because of the pundits he has on the show on a regular basis. They are interesting and factual. I’ve read O’Reilly’s books and they are an interesting read, and I urge those left-of-center to read them too.
Beck run for office? I don’t know, he’s very polarizing similar to Newt Gingrich. Both are very intelligent and have a good grasp of issues and really belong teaching.

  23. hmmm… ‘Fox & Friends’ is at times equally cheesy with ‘Today’ or ‘GMA.’

O’Reilly took an MOR ‘above the fray’ stance sometime back.

Beck, eh. When he’s talked early 20th century in past, made me wince a few times. Never cared for his style, but on current issues he can make some very valid points, IMO. Total change in tone it appears, since the rally. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Beck run for elected office in near future.

Greg Gutfeld ‘Red Eye’ is the fastest, most clever thing on TV. Murdoch is nuts for not scheduling it against Stewart/Colbert. Do the DVR on ‘Red Eye’ sometime, even if you’re a Liberal. You’ll be amazed at the ad libs flying around, and some really risque running jokes.

  24. Can’t say for sure, but it looks like a majority of Americans think they do since FOX has caused the liberal cable news outlets to become way behind also rans. Recent ratings placed O’Rielly ratings above CNN-MSNBC-HLN combined by 200%. Oh yeah, forgot..Libs say only they’re the smart ones, everyone else needs to be properly trained.

  25. I’m beginning to understand that rfreed isn’t a FOX news fan. But you have to admit, Rupert Murdock sure can pick a bevy of beautiful reporters! All except that Greta chick who was never the same after she tried to kiss a speeding locomotive.
