Michael Jackson’s Remains to Appear on “Dancing with the Stars”

HOLLYWOOD, CA (GlossyNews) — During a midday press conference, ABC announced a late addition to this season’s “Dancing with the Stars” celebrity lineup.

“It’s a fine day for American Broadcasting,” Media Director Phil Lehman announced. “I’m pleased to tell you that The King of Pop will grace our ballroom floor this season!”

It appears that the late singer’s family has signed waivers that will allow Jackson’s remains to take part in the famous dance competition.

While the audience roared with delight upon hearing the news, Jackson’s professional dance partner, Maria Schovlotski, did not share in the excitement.

“What am I going to do?” she asked. “Drag some dead guy around like I’m in ‘Weekend at Bernie’s’?”

Lehman dismissed the dancer’s concerns, saying, “We always have one or two older folks as a part of our cast. Considering Jackson’s penchant for dance in life, I’m sure the duo will perform at least as well.”

Viewers will be able to judge for themselves during this Monday’s season premier at 8:00 p.m.
